Project 2: Farnsworth House

Tasks : Methodology

For this project, I was assigned to produce 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional drawings using orthographic projections, axonometry and perspectives in three phases manually and continuously of the Farnsworth House. I was required to produce :

- Plan Drawing

- Elevations

- Section

- Axonometric

- Perspectives Drawing

My Progress

The whole progress of this assignment was actually not as challenging as I expected it to be. This assignment was self-explanatory and straightforward which made it easier to understand and work with. Besides, I actually found it interesting and amusing while learning about the Farnsworth House. I also enjoyed the process of drawing, even though they were very time consuming and had to be redrawn multiple times.

TGC 4.0 : Communication Skills

From completing assignment 2, I have acquired Taylor's Graduate Capabilities (TGC) 4.0 which is Communication Skills. For this assignment, I managed to interpret visual information into 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional orthographic drawings. I also managed to gain the ability to communicate appropriately in various settings, as well as improve my patience to keep trying until I got everything accurately. Overall, it wasn't an entirely smooth process but I am glad I got to experience this assignment as it was still a fun experience for me.
